Acanto Condo Hotel, formerly known as Chichan Baal Kah, was one of Playa del Carmen's landmark hotels built in the early 1980?s. Having been a successful operation for many years, the hotel was purchased by Mr Matthew Schilowitz in 2004, when it underwent renovation and was updated with a higher quality service staff and improved amenities.
